How we handle your details
This covers the name and email address you leave on the early access form on this site. It does not cover patient records, which are a separate matter and are governed by the agreement a practice signs with us.
What we collect
Your name, your email address, and the practice or profession you type in if you choose to. Nothing else. We do not ask for patient information on this form and you should not put any in it.
What we use it for
Contacting you about early access to Palestra, and nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone outside the people building this product, and we do not add you to any other list.
Who sees it
Duncan Miller, who is the responsible party, and the small team building the product. The message reaches us by email through our mail host, xneelo, which stores it in South Africa. On the way it passes through the servers of Vercel, which hosts this website outside South Africa. POPIA allows that where you have agreed to it, which is what the tick box on the form is for.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until we stop working on early access, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it. You can also object to us contacting you and we will stop. Email hello@palestra.co.za. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
